St. Ann Roman Catholic Church > Faith Formation > High School CCD Program

Our High School Religious Education Program consist of 9th through 11th grade students. The book we are using for our class is  Point Decision by Matthew Kelly, founder of Dynamic Catholic.

We incorporate service projects, encourage Eucharistic Adoration and classroom time.

Our 2017-2018 schedule consist of the following service projects: caroling at Savoy Care Center, helping with Food for Families, food baskets and various other activities in the Mamou/Vidrine areas. Service hours are mandated. All  Service Projects MUST be completed between September and March. The 9th and 10th graders will attend a one day retreat at our Religious Education Building while the 11th graders will participate in a weekend retreat out of town. The dates of these retreats have not yet been set, but are anticipated  to be in the fall and winter months.

Classes are scheduled to begin with the 5 pm Mass and continue in the Religious Education Building for an hour and a half.

Confirmation on April 23, 2017 at the 10 am Mass, celebrated by Fr Tom Voorhies.
